Writing empowers our thoughts, voice and makes impressions. It can be for self or others. It is such that our expressions in the milieu can bring a revolution in the people’s minds. Writing has entered and settled both in our personal and professional world with its diverse styles and forms. Easily demarcated, it can be realistic or fictional. An influential writer is aware of the nuanced insights of the writing and evolves with time.
Under the art of writing comes story writing. Stories can be of six words, 30 words, 500 or more. Critical is the readers can connect with it, and if more fortunate, it seeps in mind forever.
Writing a short story is testing litmus as one has time and space constraints. But, it challenges one’s imagination. Additionally, building a gripping plot, outstanding characters, and witty cum satirical dialogues hone on.
Takhte: Writers & Publishers conduct ‘Writeshop on Short-Story’ for school students from grade 4th onwards, aspiring to become writers with intensifying Writing Quotient. The goal and objectives include-

The Writeshop will undoubtedly help build confidence and get acquainted with the tools in writing stories. The task is fervour loaded as it will enable the young writer to imagine vividly and help bring in tandem the much-needed elements needed for shaping the short story.
